A new online service for searching family history is now available on nidirect.
It enables you to view various levels of information by using credits.
Until now, family records could only be accessed in the public search room in the General Register Office for Northern Ireland (GRONI) in Belfast.
There are some data protection restrictions and, unfortunately, some teething problems which I hope will be sorted out quickly.
