I work for Tiger Aspect Television and we're looking for people who have a servant among their ancestors.
I'd be very grateful if you could post the following on your facebook page to help spread the word:
Did your ancestor live or work in a grand house in the Victorian or Edwardian era?
Was one of your ancestors a butler or a hall boy? Was your great grandmother a housemaid or a cook? Did your forebears employ domestic staff?
Whatever your family’s link to the past, we’d love to hear from you. Tiger Aspect are looking to speak to people of all ages who have a direct family connection to a historic house. We would like to hear what you know about their lives and see any photos or letters you may have.
