FFHS Children's Competition - Open Now!
Do you have children or grandchildren?
We don’t need convincing that family history is fun and worthwhile, but how do we encourage young people to develop an interest? We may have the answer, with our My Family Tree competition.
Launched successfully last year, FFHS is running the competition again in 2017 for 5-16 year olds in the UK. The competition will encourage them to use the FFHS My Family Tree booklet to start their research adventure. Young people, with the help of family and friends, fill in some or all of the booklet to create their own family tree. They can then send what they've done to FFHS, explaining what they enjoyed most. The winner will receive a family day out at Living History Museum and there are prizes for the runners up too.
See the FFHS website at www.ffhs.org.uk/ezine/competition-2017.php for the details of how to enter.
Open now, the competition closes on Thursday 13th July 2017.
