The organisers of the Irish one day conference tell us that the event is only a month away and ask if you are hoping to attend but have not booked yet would you please do so as they need to inform the caterers by the 23rd of September three weeks away of the number attending for the buffet lunch.
The programme is an excellent one this year, with Maggie Loughran who unfortunately had to cancel giving her talk at the last conference. Her talk “Researching Pre-1865 records” will no doubt help many who have “brick walls” to knock down.
This year for the first time we’ll be looking at Northern Ireland records, Chris Paton will be talking about PRONI records. How to access them and what is available.
Maggie, Chris and our local Irish expert Brenda are on the panel of experts so do remember to bring your questions with you.
